We are easy to find in the grand building of the Piece Hall in Halifax, just next to the train station.

Opening times Monday – Saturday 10am – 5pm, Sunday 10am – 4pm.

Dating from 1779, the Piece Hall is the sole survivor of the great eighteenth century northern cloth halls. It is one of Britain’s most outstanding Georgian buildings and well worth a visit. Combine your trip to West Yorkshire with a visit to Shibden Hall in Halifax, home of the diarist Anne Lister (Gentleman Jack) and a look round The Bronte Parsonage in historic Haworth. Travel up the Calder Valley and explore the landscape that inspired writers from Ted Hughes to Ben Myers, calling in at quirky Hebden Bridge and visiting Sylvia Plath’s grave above the town in Heptonstall churchyard.
